301E — Fall 2022

The Shepherd King

The students will learn that God chose leaders to bless His people, the Israelites, and God chooses leaders today to bless His church, as well. God wants His leaders to have shepherds’ hearts – hearts that will care for those under them, hearts that will sacrifice themselves for those under them. God is the ultimate King of kings, but He rules as a shepherd does, tenderly caring for all under Him. He even sacrificed Himself to save us. These lessons focus on the stories in 1 Samuel, continuing where last quarter left off, from Hannah asking God for a son to David becoming the king of Israel.

302E — Winter 2023

Kings and Prophets

The students will learn that God has given us the choice to follow and obey Him or to turn away from and disobey Him. Following Him does not mean that life will be easy. However, God will always provide what we need and He will give us wisdom and His Spirit so that we can do His will. These lessons focus on the stories in Second Samuel and First and Second Kings, continuing where last quarter left off, from David bringing the ark to Jerusalem to Elisha healing Naaman of leprosy.

303E — Spring 2023

Rejoice in the Lord Always

The students will learn that with God we can do the impossible: we can praise God in every situation, no matter how difficult and trying. Just as Job, Daniel, Esther, and many others learned to praise God and trust Him in the most fearful circumstances, we can learn to trust, obey, and praise God, too. These lessons focus on some of the stories in the Old Testament that were not previously covered.

304E — Summer 2023

Our Mission: To Share the Gospel with Everyone

The students will learn that God has given us a great work to do. We are to share the gospel with everyone in the whole world. However, God has also given us everything we need to do this great work. These lessons focus on stories from the book of Acts. Students will learn about the early followers of Christ and how they carried the gospel around the world.

305E — Fall 2023

God Gave His Son Jesus to Us

The students will learn that God gave His Son, Jesus, to us; that Jesus was born as an ordinary baby; grew up knowing He was the true Passover Lamb who would die for us; was baptized and overcame temptations through the power of God’s Word; called men to follow Him; ministered to the needs of others; and did all this that we might choose to follow Him and allow Him to transform our ordinary lives into extraordinary ones.

306E — Winter 2021

The Life and Ministry of Jesus

The students will learn that when Jesus was here on earth He did some amazing things such as healing the sick with a word and raising the dead to life. But sometimes Jesus chose instead to forgive a sin-burdened paralytic, test a father’s faith, or allow a dear friend to die because He had an even greater goal in mind. More than anything, Jesus wants us to believe and trust in Him, through the good and bad, knowing He loves us and gave up everything to save us.

307E — Spring 2021

The Last Days of Jesus

The students will learn about some of the events leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection, and understand how the disciples played an important role in everything that happened. These lessons take the students from Jesus’ last supper with His disciples, to His agony in Gethsemane and His betrayal by Judas, to His crucifixion, and finally, to His resurrection.

308E — Summer 2021

The Parables of Jesus

The students will learn that the parables Jesus told were not just interesting stories. Each one contained gems of truth that were vital, not just to the people back then, but to us, as well. These lessons focus on some of the well-known and lesser-known parables of Jesus. Through these parables we will come to understand how great is the love of God toward sinners, how merciful and forgiving He is, how much we need Him to do anything good, and that He’s invited us to the greatest wedding celebration of all times.

309E — Fall 2021

Back to the Beginning – A Look at Genesis

The students will learn that the stories of the Old Testament were not fairy tales or simply fanciful stories of old. Each one is packed with lessons that we can learn from and each one helps us to better understand God and His great love for us. These lessons focus on the stories in Genesis, beginning at the Creation and continuing on to Abraham and the birth of his son Ishmael. Students will not only come to see God as the awesome and all-powerful Creator, but also as the God who sees each of us and has a plan for each of our lives.

310E — Winter 2022

Journey of Faith – From Abraham to Joseph

The students will learn that the Bible characters we are studying this quarter were people just like us. At times they showed great faith, while at other times they failed miserably at trusting God. Through everything, God was there, patiently teaching them that trusting in themselves would always lead to trouble and that He alone was worthy of their trust. These lessons focus on the stories in Genesis, continuing where last quarter left off, from the birth of Isaac to Joseph being sold as a slave. The emphasis this quarter, throughout all these Bible stories, is faith.

311E — Spring 2022

Blessing – God Blessing Us and Using Us to Bless Others

The students will learn that God has so many blessings He longs to give to each of us. As we read His Word we come to better understand some of these blessings and how it is that we can receive them and then share them with others. These lessons focus on the stories in Genesis and Exodus, continuing where last quarter left off, from Joseph in Egypt to the Israelites building the Tabernacle in the wilderness. The emphasis this quarter throughout all these Bible stories is “blessing.”

312E — Summer 2022

God’s Chosen People

The students will learn that we are truly blessed to be a part of God’s people. As we learn about the children of Israel we can learn much about ourselves, God’s plans for us, and God’s power for us to accomplish those plans. These lessons focus on the stories in Numbers, Joshua, Judges, and Ruth, continuing where last quarter left off, from the twelve spies reporting on the Promised Land to Ruth becoming the ancestor of Jesus.
